Sunday Traditional Breakfast And Afternoon Tea

So today was a beautiful Sunday in Londontown. (It's not really called Londontown- but I like the way it sounds in a British accent...) :)

The church we have been staying at asked us to be a part of their service this morning--so I set about the task of turning our 14 people into an awesome church choir! :) We did two songs in the beginning of the service (All Creatures and How Great Is Our God) and then a special offering song (From the Inside Out). I had a blast leading the choir on my guitar and seeing the potential we might have for next week when we will be singing for over 400 people in Kenya at church on Sunday.

The church follows the traditional Lutheran Divine Service 1 and they asked me to be the cantor for the morning. I must admit that that could have been one of the very first inspirations for me wanting to be a pastor--getting to sing all those sweet chants! The pastor's part is way more exciting than the congregations. :)

We painted the women's 'toilet' toay as well. So exciting...lol :)

Today was a very relaxed day. I napped, we walked down to the towns local pub and ate dinner- all in all it was a great day for spiritual resting! Our teams afternoon devotion time flowed into the entire night and it has inspired a lot of us to think about life...

Tomorrow we go into Londontown and see the sights! Some of us might try to spend the entire night out there at the pubs and such so that we can sleep on our ten hour plane ride to Kenya on Tuesday.

Continue to pray for all of us, and that unity would continue to be our goal throughout this process. And that love would be our ultimate driving force.

We are keeping a video blog on a differrent website if you are interested in following that as well here is the link:
